Family Books: Kids Chapter Books of the Month

Picture Books are wonderful, but here is a new offering for the whole family! These are books you can read aloud with your kids, for even more exposure to that rich, descriptive language. Reading aloud supports a child’s language, literacy and writing skills development, and we’re here to help you find the best books to read aloud with your family! You’ll see the latest book at the top of the list, as well as a running list of previous books. These books are typically recommended for children around ages 8-14, but please use your own judgement on which books would be the best for your family.
